Submission process

When you log on to the portal you will now see your application as a draft under the ‘full applications’ tab and you will see that you have been allocated a reference number: this should be used on your word application form.

 

  • You have the opportunity to amend details on the portal form: please ensure that you have
    • included the discipline
    • completed the ‘role in project’ field (with the expertise/function of each investigator)
    • made sure that your name/organisation on the registration form is the same as the details on your CV

 

  • Download the application form,  guidelines and budget form from the HRC website or from the 'HRC Forms and Guidelines column  to the right

 

Preparation of full application

  • Internal deadlines for the submission of the full application are as follows:

     Drafts and MoUs for review: week beginning 5 November 

     Budgets to be sent to Graeme Mitchell for review by 12 November (but if you have budget queries, please get in touch earlier)

     Final deadline to upload documents to the portal: 9am Monday 19 November

     Hard copy with signatures and letters of support due at RMS Monday 19 November

     Full application submission via the portal 12pm Tuesday 20 November

     Hard copies couriered to HRC Wednesday 21 November

     Hard copies due at HRC Thursday 22 November

  • Please note:

Name your files as follows: 13-xxx-surname-GA213F.doc or 13-xxx-surname-RHM213F.doc and 13-xxx-surname-HRC213budget.xls

make sure track changes are turned off

Upload only .doc and .xls files

Check names of investigators and email  addresses are the same in Module 1, CVs and on the portal

Ensure you have completed module 7 with the code AND description

Ensure that the application is in Arial 10 or 11pt font and CVs are all completed in Arial 12 pt font

 

Results

Results for the 2013 Funding Round will be known after the May 2013 Board meeting, with media releases and other announcements in the first week of June 2013.
