This presentation was co-authored by Frances Langdon and Ngaire Hoben who visited educational institutions in the US involved in using e-portfolios in their programmes.
Dr Frances Langdon heads the School of Teaching, Learning and Development in the Faculty of Education, University of Auckland. Her teaching interests are practitioner learning, research and pedagogy. Her research focus is on begining teacher induction and learning.
Dr Ngaire Hoben is the Heads the Graduate Diploma in secondary teaching. Her research interests include pre-service teacher education, including practicum, English education, and Media education. She is also the first teaching staff member involved in trialing Mahara as part of the e-portfolio initiative in the faculty of education, University of Auckland.
In this presentation, Ngaire shared some of the lessons learn't during the visits in the US.
